Week 6: Finding balance

This week I have read few things about the balance in our life and something about it is that our life is a balance between good and bad, light and darkness, health and sickness. Everything needs balance in the sake to prosper and one thing came to my mind and it is what happens with our family and religion if we have or sports if we like is necessary to sacrifice all for raise money. Sometimes is a difficult decision, but is not the right solution.

Think in the scene when we have obtained “success” and at the same time our family is a disaster like divorce, children with drugs problems or whatever scenarios you can imagine. This is really life? I think no, and the price of filling the pockets is worthy. Never put at risk our happiness trying to achieve something else is a lesson I have learned. In a video of Jan Newman named Loyalty to God and Family that I watched this week I learned or I mean relearned where the loyalty is and there is with our beloved ones. What is the meaning of the money if I don´t have happy family or if I never have achieved other success than a business. The money help to feel calm and to take certain amenities but is no a condition of our happiness because we can see poor people that could be happier than wealthy. 

This is the result of understand where is our loyalty in the life. We need to be entrepreneurial because we love it and not for the money because if we are doing only for it late or early we going to fall. Our loyalty must to birth of a strong conviction and in this way we will obtain the true success together the most important people in our life. Also deal with our family could be a way to develop patience with our workers and be the enough smart to recognize mistakes. The fact is that the riches could change us and change our families but our values, discipline and right desires could help us in the road to the true success. Sometimes we are watching at internet or the news of people with appearance of good life but is just an illusion. The happiness and business is usually not planned the majority of time but we receive opportunities to find them, the advice that I want to share is never lost this opportunities and don´t forget that success business requires passion in the work, the house or any places we have to stay and we will find the true path to success and happiness so never forget it and never forget where is your loyalty. 

week 5: High quality

Studying this week in my career at BYU Idaho I have read the story of a woman named Ericka Mills who started a business about business cards and something that caught my attention was the desire of do the cards with high quality and made think that people prefer quality instead quantity, but if we want to progress in the market we have to develop both in order to be competitive. Somewhere I learned that late or early the discipline will overcome the intelligence. About discipline I have to talk about how discipline allows us to practice our gifts.

Watching a speech by Brian Carter a recognized teacher in my college, he was talking about a few clues that we can apply and something that was explained clearly to me is that there are moments that change our life and is our duty to find them. Is like a component that complement our formula of success and it is finding a strong reason to change the world, becoming good in something and struggling each day for be the best in what we enjoy. So in this case is important the kind of people we are surrounded and I don´t want to be misunderstanding with discrimination but is a fact that we are an average of our best friends and this is why all have to be care with the friends we choose, something I have heard several times is that the friends are something like the family that you can choose. So always try to choose your friends pondering in this person. 

At the same time we can´t be arrogant with people and this don´t mean that we have to be with anger face all time is just who we are trusting more because a good leader must to win the attention and a certain respect. I will refer in someone like example and he is Barack Obama, by the way I am not an American citizen, he is a good speaker and anyone have doubts about it. The way he obtained the presidency is with diligence or in other words discipline applying in the gifts he has. I don´t know about his administration in the government but if he desire can win another time. Let´s surround us with good friends and develop out gifts in order to become the best in what we are doing and don´t forget to look for the advice or someone skilled in this issues and is better if he or she is our friend. If we can´t find the quality in the advises so let´s read the life of people that changed the world such as Martin Luther King, Teresa of Calcutta or someone who have changed the world because is what we going to imitate and I am sure that we can become friends of them through their books and biographies.
